New Interstate 90 bridge at Turtle Creek in Austin now open
ROCHESTER, Minn. — The new Interstate 90 eastbound Turtle Creek bridge is now open to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The bridge had been reduced to a single lane in each direction since March.
Intermittent lane restrictions will continue to take place on I-90 at Turtle Creek through mid-October for pavement replacement work.
Lunda Construction is the primary contractor for this $12.8 million project, which includes four bridge replacements in two years. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of October, weather permitting.
