Highway 16 construction in Houston County complete
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Highway 16 construction project from Houston to Hokah is complete and motorists can now drive on both lanes of Highway 16, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Highway 16 was down to single-lane traffic, controlled by flaggers, while crews resurfaced the road.
The completed project provides motorists with a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
MnDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this 15-week project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
