Rice County Road 86 bridge over Interstate 35 to open Monday, Oct. 4
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rice County Road 86 bridge over Interstate 35 (south of Elko) will reopen on Monday morning, Oct. 4, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The bridge was closed for about one month as maintenance crews resurfaced the concrete bridge deck.
The new bridge deck will improve safety, create a smoother ride surface and extend the life of the bridge.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
