Highway 13 pedestrian ramp construction in Albert Lea complete

 

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Highway 13 pedestrian ramp construction project in Albert Lea is complete, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Various street corners and sidewalks were closed along Highway 13 in Albert Lea while crews replaced several pedestrian ramps.

The new ramps were part of MnDOT’s efforts to improve accessibility for pedestrians crossing state highways.

MnDOT thanks Albert Lea community members for their patience during this four-week project.

MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
