The City of Wadena, in cooperation with MnDOT, is updating its comprehensive plan and is developing a transportation plan for the city and surrounding area.
MnDOT, the city of Lake Park and Becker County are currently studying access management in the city of Lake Park.

MnDOT, in conjunction with the city of Pelican Rapids, is designing an accessibility and traffic safety project on Highways 59 and 108 in Pelican Rapids. MnDOT and the city are currently considering a preliminary (possible) design. (The layout below has not been finalized by MnDOT or approved by the city of Pelican Rapids.)

In recent years, MnDOT, Becker County and the city of Detroit Lakes have made significant investments in the transportation system infrastructure in the Detroit Lakes area. To protect these investments, the three agencies partnered again to study the area west of Highway 59.
MnDOT, Douglas County and the city of Alexandria partnered together to prepare a comprehensive long range transportation plan for greater Alexandria area.
