Open house for 2020 Starbuck project set for Jan. 10

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — The public is invited to an open house about a future road, accessibility and utility project in Starbuck. The event will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the Starbuck Community Center, 307 East 5th St., Starbuck. A short presentation will begin at 6 p.m.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation and city of Starbuck are planning a project in 2020 reconstruct and resurface Highway 28, Highway 29 and Highway 114, replace city utilities and improve pedestrian accessibility.

Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend to learn more about the project and share feedback with MnDOT and city representatives.
