Hwy 75 paving work begins Sept. 15 in south Moorhead
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Motorists on Highway 75/Eighth Street in south Moorhead will encounter lane closures and delays when resurfacing work begins Friday, Sept. 15, weather permitting. The work is expected to take up to one week.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction at times between Belsly Boulevard/35th Avenue and 40th Avenue.
Significant delays are possible during the morning and evening rush hours. Motorists may want to consider an alternate route during these times.
Once the resurfacing is complete, minor traffic impacts will continue as crews install a new traffic signal at 37th Avenue and upgrade the signal at 40th Avenue to include a flashing yellow arrow.
Motorists are urged to slow down and use extra caution while driving through work zones.
