Hwy 32 resurfacing project begins May 1
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 32 will encounter intermittent lane closures between Highway 10 and Highway 34 starting Monday, May 1, when a resurfacing project begins.
Drivers should expect minimal traffic impacts for the first two weeks of the project while crews work on culverts.
Starting in mid-May, resurfacing work will begin. Highway 32 will remain open. However, flaggers and pilot cars will allow alternating one-way traffic through the work zone.
The project is expected to last about two months.
Knife River Materials of Bemidji is the prime contractor for the $2.5 million project. The work will result in a smoother highway.
