Hwy 10 lane closures in Detroit Lakes begin June 21
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 10 on the west side of Detroit Lakes will encounter lane closures starting Tuesday, June 21.
Crews will complete the final two elements of the frontage road system along Highway 10:
- The frontage road connection between the Minnesota Department of Transportation building and the west end shopping district
- Highway 10 median modifications in front of MnDOT
Median work will require closures of the left lanes of Highway 10 just west of Highway 59 for up to two weeks. During the work, motorists will not be able to travel directly between westbound Highway 10 and the frontage road in front of the MnDOT building.
The entire project is expected to be complete by early July.
This project helps ensure Minnesota’s transportation system will continue to serve the state for many years. Learn how MnDOT works to meet the public’s needs and get the most from every dollar at Get Connected (www.dot.state.mn.us/getconnected/).
