Resurfaced eastbound lanes of I-94 open near Barnesville
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — The newly-resurfaced eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 between Barnesville and Clay County Road 10 near Downer have reopened to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews opened the lanes this morning, Sept. 25. They have been closed since June.
Motorists will still encounter occasional lane closures near Barnesville while crews finish striping work along the westbound lanes and remove temporary crossovers.
When the project is complete, motorists will notice a smoother ride along nine miles of eastbound I-94.
