Temporary Highway 10 access closures in Audubon begin July 25
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Motorists will encounter temporary access closures on Highway 10 in Audubon beginning Thursday, July 25, weather permitting.
Paving work will require the short-term closure of the intersection of Highway 10 and Becker County Road 13 in Audubon. Traffic will be re-directed to Becker County Road 11 and Main Street for up to one week while the new concrete cures.
After Becker County Road 13 reopens, the Becker County Road 11 access will close for up to one week.
Crews will begin paving Highway 10 on Saturday, July 20. Motorists will notice increased truck traffic on the closed portion of the highway. Drivers are reminded not to go around barricades. Concrete needs time to cure before it can handle traffic.
All work on the Highway 10 project is expected to be complete by late August, weather permitting.
When the road work is complete, motorists will notice a smoother ride along eight miles of westbound Highway 10.
