Wadena Comprehensive Plan public hearing set for Jan. 29
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The public is invited to an open house and hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 29, to review and provide input on the draft Wadena Comprehensive Plan, including its supporting transportation plan.
The open house will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Wadena City Hall Council Chambers, 222 Second St. SE. The Wadena Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing after the open house at 5:30 p.m.
The city of Wadena, working with Wadena County, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and an advisory committee, developed the draft plan to serve as a blueprint to guide development and transportation-related decision making.

Beginning Jan. 21, 2013, a copy of the draft plan and its transportation elements can be viewed on the study website at www.mndot.gov/d4/projects/wadena/. The document will also be available for review at Wadena City Hall.
