I-94 Buffalo River bridge project nearly complete
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Motorists will be able to use all four lanes of Interstate 94 near the Buffalo River east of Moorhead this evening. All lane restrictions will be lifted by 7 p.m.
Motorists have encountered lane closures and occasional delays since the bridge re-decking project began in May. Additional lane closures will occur next spring as crews paint the beams beneath the bridge.
The new decks will prolong the life of the bridges and improve safety and mobility along the I-94 corridor.
