Hwy 59 project north of Pelican Rapids complete
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Motorists on Hwy 59 north of Pelican Rapids will no longer encounter delays or lane closures. The resurfacing and improvement project between Pelican Rapids and the Becker County line was completed Monday, Oct. 29.
Over the last three months, crews replaced two bridges, added new turn lanes and resurfaced the highway. The improvements have enhanced safety and mobility on the Hwy 59 corridor.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation would like to thank residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation during the project.
