MnDOT names new regional public affairs coordinator for District 4

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Jerimiah Moerke is now serving as the public affairs coordinator for the Minnesota Department of
Transportation-District 4, which encompasses 12 counties in west central Minnesota.
Moerke has 11 years of experience in broadcast and online media at KVLY/KXJB-TV in Fargo, N.D. Most recently, Moerke coordinated story assignments in the newsroom and helped manage the station's website.
"Jerimiah's experience with the area media and knowledge of the local issues will prove to be extremely beneficial to providing transportation users with information on road conditions and highway construction projects, as well as opportunities for the public to provide input on transportation issues," said Jody Martinson, District 4 transportation engineer.
Moerke graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and is a native of Elbow Lake, Minn.
