Pavement heaves causing hazardous driving conditions on I-94 eastbound west of Alexandria
Motorists urged to use caution, watch for MnDOT crews in the area
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (10 a.m.) —The Minnesota Department of Transportation asks motorists to use caution on Interstate 94 eastbound west of Alexandria. Heat has caused the pavement to heave in three different places between Douglas County Road 8 and the Lake Latoka rest area.
MnDOT crews are fixing the heaves today.
MnDOT urges motorists to slow down, use caution and pay close attention to crew members working in the area.
