DETROIT LAKES, Minn.— Motorists on Highway 113 east of Waubun will experience delays when a road resurfacing and culvert replacement project begins April 30 between Highway 59 and Mahnomen County Road 4.
Traffic will use a detour on Highway 59, Mahnomen County Road 6 and Mahnomen County Road 4. A map of the detour is available at www.mndot.gov/d4/images/4405-26_hwy113_detour.pdf.
Crews will replace several culverts and mill and resurface the road.
Work is scheduled to be complete in late June, weather permitting. The project was originally scheduled to begin May 14, but favorable weather conditions will allow the contractor to start the project early.
