Westbound I-94 traffic between Downer and Barnesville switches back to westbound lanes Aug. 15
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Westbound Interstate 94 traffic between Downer and Barnesville will switch back to the newly resurfaced westbound lanes Aug. 15. Westbound traffic was switched over to the eastbound lanes of I-94 in May to allow crews to resurface the westbound lanes.
Motorists will still encounter lane closures in both directions while crews remove the temporary crossovers from the median and perform miscellaneous clean-up work.
The project is scheduled to be completed by Aug. 19, weather permitting.
