MnDOT construction projects resume following state government shutdown
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.—State road construction projects in west central Minnesota that were shut down July 1 will restart Monday, July 25.
Projects include:
- Resurfacing Interstate 94 westbound between Barnesville and Downer. The project is scheduled to be completed in early August.
- Resurfacing Hwy 9 between the north Clay County line and Hwy 10. The project is scheduled to be completed in late August.
- Resurfacing I-94 bridges over Douglas County Road 1 near Evansville. Work on this project will continue into fall as long as weather permits.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation appreciates motorists’ cooperation and patience during this transition. MnDOT is working with contractors to resume construction projects as soon as possible throughout the state.
