Highway 10 opens to four lanes of traffic from St. Cloud to Clear Lake
ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- Crews accelerated an already aggressive schedule due to the winter storm predicted for this weekend and today opened all four lanes of Highway 10 between St. Cloud and Clear Lake to traffic, three days ahead of schedule.
This year’s project included roadway reconstruction with a new concrete surface and shoulders and intersection reconstruction at 15th Avenue SE in St. Cloud and Highway 24 in Clear Lake. Work began on June 1, 2010.
Shafer Contracting Company was the prime contractor for this $16.9 roadway improvement project.
