Motorists will encounter single lane restrictions and reduced speeds
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Motorists will encounter single lane restrictions and reduced speeds at the intersection of Highway 107 and Highway 65 in Isanti County beginning Monday, Sept. 13, when an intersection revision project begins.
Safety improvements to this intersection include adjusting the median crossovers, lighting and adding a left turn lane.
Motorists will be restricted to a single lane through the work zone by traffic control devices and flaggers.
Knife River Corporation of Sauk Rapids is the prime contractor for this $700,000 safety and roadway improvement project.
Traffic is now utilizing the newly revised intersection.
Work that remains:
- Remove the old intersection
- Install overhead intersection lighting
- Install a liner in a culvert that runs underneath Hwy 65.
All work to be completed by mid November, weather permitting.
