BAXTER, Minn. - The temporary detour on Highway 25 at 4th Avenue North and Vincent Street in the city of Pierz will be lifted on Friday afternoon, July 9.
Highway 25 remains closed to traffic through town from Highway 27 to 3rd Avenue North. Traffic must follow a signed detour on Highway 27, to Centennial Drive, to 3rd Avenue/Morrison County Highway 43 to allow crews to continue to work on curbs, gutters, sidewalks, storm sewers, city utilities and new overhead street lights.
This reconstruction project is scheduled to be completed by late August, weather permitting.
When completed, these roadway improvements will provide additional access, safety and mobility for Highway 25 corridor users.
