Hwy 10 St. Cloud to Watab lanes close until Nov. 4
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists who travel Highway 10 in St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids and Watab, should watch for road crews, equipment and slow traffic as the segments of the road are reduced to a single lane between East St. Germain Street and County Road 33 beginning Monday, Sept. 18.
The lane closures will occur from sunrise to sunset, during non-rush hours, through Nov. 4. The closures are needed while crews install high-tension cable median barrier along six miles of Highway 10 in the St. Cloud area.
Cable median barrier can reduce fatalities up to 95 percent. For more information and to view a video showing cable median barrier hits, visit mndot.gov/trafficeng/reports/cmbarrier.html.
