PROJECT COMPLETE: Watch for slow traffic on Hwy 10 in Becker Township beginning Oct. 24
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists who travel both directions of Highway 10 at 137th Street in Becker Township, just south of the city of Becker, may encounter delays while the road is intermittently reduced to a single lane beginning Monday, Oct. 24.
Lanes on Highway 10 at 137th Street will be closed as needed Mondays through Fridays from sunrise to sunset through Saturday, Nov. 12.
Also, 137th Street will close between Highway 10 and County Road 11 beginning Monday, Oct. 24. A signed detour will direct motorists to the Highway 10/County Road 11 intersection, located about 1.5 miles east of 137th Street. All lanes of 137th Street will open by Nov. 12.
Highway 10 motorists approaching the work zone should slow down, watch for slow moving traffic and be prepared to stop if necessary.
The lane closures and detour are part of a project to reconstruct and realign the Highway 10/137th Street intersection. When complete, the project will improve safety and drainage in the area.
