Orange barrels on a highway

COMPLETE: Hwy 55/County Road 3 intersection improvements west of Annandale

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists traveling Highway 55 at Wright County Road 3, located west of Annandale, may encounter delays as the road is reduced intermittently to a single lane during daytime hours through Nov. 15.

Flaggers will allow one-way, alternating traffic through the Highway 55/County Road 3 work zone. Motorists should plan their travel in advance and may experience delays of up to 15 minutes when flaggers are present.

All lanes of Highway 55 at County Road 3 will open permanently by Nov. 15.

The closures are needed while crews reconstruct the Highway 55/County Road 3 intersection. The redesigned intersection will include dedicated left turn lanes and add a signal system to the intersection.

The project is part of a multi-year, multi-project plan to improve safety and mobility on Highway 55 and Highway 25 in Wright County.
