BAXTER, Minn.– Motorists traveling on Highway 71 between Todd Line Road south of Wadena and Todd County Road 24 in Bertha, may encounter delays and lane closures as road resurfacing begins Monday, July 25.

Work is to occur from sunrise to sunset on good weather days, including weekends, through mid-August.

Flaggers and a pilot car will control traffic through the work zone. Motorists should slow down, be prepared to stop and obey flaggers and use caution when following the pilot car through the work zone.

The project will provide a smoother road surface and extend the life of eight miles of pavement.
