Hwy 25 south of Watertown scheduled to open June 2
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 25 near Watertown will encounter a detour and delays as the road remains closed through June 2.
The road, which closed April 28, was originally scheduled to open May 31. That date has been extended while crews repair a culvert, a segment of guardrail and a slope that washed out due to recent heavy rain.
A signed detour will direct motorists along Highway 7, County Road 33, County Road 8 and County Road 30, a distance of 13 miles. While Highway 25 will remain open to local traffic, a segment of roadway south of Watertown and north of Highway 7, near the south fork of the Crow River, will be impassable. Get map.
