Both directions of Hwy 15 at CR 120 in Sartell, St. Cloud reduced to single lane Sept. 4

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 15 near County Road 120 in Sartell will encounter rush hour delays as both directions of the road are reduced to a single lane beginning at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4

All lanes of Highway 15 are scheduled to open by 2 p.m. the same day.

Motorists are advised to plan additional travel time and seek alternate routes for their morning commutes. Motorists should also watch for slow moving or stop and go traffic as they approach and navigate the work zone.

The closures are needed as crews pour concrete for the deck of the new County Road 120 bridge spanning Highway 15 and pave Highway 15 beneath the bridge.

The work closures are part of the Highway 15/County Road 120 Diverging Diamond Interchange project. When complete in 2013, the project will increase safety and mobility by replacing the existing Highway 15/Stearns County Road 120 intersection with a full interchange with exit and entrance ramps.
