Daytime lane closures underway on
Highway 210 between Baxter, Pillager
Baxter, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 210 between Baxter and Pillager will encounter daytime delays as segments of the road are reduced to a single lane with flaggers and pilot car controlling traffic from sunrise to sunset beginning Monday, Aug. 12.
Motorists will also encounter a rough ride on segments of Highway 210 as concrete patches will be slightly higher than the surrounding pavement until repairs are complete and all concrete surfaces can be ground to their final specifications.
Drivers should slow down and be prepared to stop, and must obey the flaggers and follow the pilot car through the daily work zone. Those entering a work zone from driveways or roads intersecting Highway 210 must wait for the pilot car to pass, then follow it through the work zone.
When complete in late September, the project will extend the road’s life and result in a smoother ride along seven miles of Highway 210.
