Water no longer over Highway 371 lanes in Nisswa and Pequot Lakes
Lanes are currently dry, motorists still urged to drive with caution if heavy rains return
Baxter, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 371 in Nisswa and Pequot Lakes will find both segments of road open with no water over the pavement. Two segments of Highway 371 were underwater earlier today due to heavy rains; that water has now receded.
The two segments of highway are:
- Highway 371 south of Clark Lake Road, within the work zone for the Highway 371 Nisswa reconstruction project.
- Highway 371 at County Road 11 in Pequot Lakes.
While the lanes are currently dry, motorists are urged to drive with caution if heavy rains return in these areas. Soils in both areas remain wet, and heavy rains could again result in standing water covering the pavement.
