Highway 210 between Baxter, Pillager reduced to single lane overnight beginning June 10
Baxter, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 210 between Baxter and Pillager may encounter delays as segments of the road are reduced to a single lane overnight with flaggers and pilot car controlling traffic beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, June 10.
The overnight closures will begin at 7 p.m. daily Sundays through Thursdays, and all lanes will open by 7 a.m. the following day.
The closures will continue through mid-August as crews repair and resurface segments of the road.
Motorists may temporarily encounter a rough ride as concrete patches will be slightly higher than the surrounding pavement until all repairs are complete and all concrete surfaces can be ground to their final specifications.
Drivers should slow down and be prepared to stop, and must obey the flaggers and follow the pilot car through the nightly single-lane work zone. Those entering a work zone from driveways or roads intersecting Highway 210 must wait for the pilot car to pass, then follow it through the nightly work zone.
When complete, the project will extend the road’s life and result in a smoother ride along seven miles of Highway 210.
