East Central Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths workshop convenes in St. Cloud

Traffic Safety event combines diverse field of stakeholders aimed at reducing traffic fatalities



Traffic safety stakeholders will attend the East Central Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) workshop. The 2012 East Central Minnesota crash facts will be presented and best practices highlighted. Attendees will discuss ways they can work together to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries on Minnesota roadways.

When: Tuesday, June 4, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Le St. Germain Suite Hotel, 404 West Germain Street, St. Cloud, MN
Why: Traffic crashes are the leading cause of deaths for Minnesotans ages two through 34

Members of the media are invited to attend and interview key traffic safety stakeholders. Representatives from law enforcement, engineering, education and emergency medical and trauma services, and local leaders also will attend. Download agenda

The East Central Toward Zero Deaths program is new as of 2012. The counties that make up East Central TZD are Benton, Cass, Crow Wing, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, Wadena, and Wright.
