Lane closures planned on central Minnesota highways
Princeton, Sauk Rapids, Annandale, Clearwater, St. Augusta and Kimball
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Motorists will encounter delays, flaggers and pilot cars on three Central Minnesota highways beginning Wednesday, May 15 as crews seal segments of each road.
Each road segment will be intermittently reduced to a single lane with flaggers and a pilot car controlling traffic through the daily work zones.
No lane closures will occur from 5 a.m. Friday, May 24 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.
The closures will occur on the following roadways:
- Highway 95 from Highway 23, east of Sauk Rapids, to 333rd Avenue, 14 miles east of Princeton
- Highway 24 from Interstate 94 in Clearwater to Highway 55 in Annandale
- Highway 15 Kimball to St. Augusta
Motorists must slow down, be prepared to stop, obey the flaggers and follow the pilot car through the daily work zone. Those entering from intersecting driveways or roads within a work zone must wait for the pilot car to pass, then follow it through the daily work zone.
The work and lane closures will be complete by mid-June.
