Highway 15/County Road 120 intersection temporarily closes April 22
Ramps open in May, crossover remains closed until November
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists traveling near the Highway 15/Stearns County Road 120 intersection in Sartell and St. Cloud will encounter delays and detours as the intersection temporarily closes at 7 p.m. Monday, April 22.
April 22-May 23
The intersection is scheduled to remain closed through May 23, and is the first of two planned 30-day closures of the intersection. The second closure is scheduled for October, 2013.
While the intersection is closed, two signed detours will direct drivers to County Road 120 and businesses on either side of Highway 15.
- East of Hwy 15 use eastbound County Road 1 to County Road 120. County Road 1 is located one mile north of County Road 120.
- West of Hwy 15 (Medical Park area) use the temporary signalized intersection at 23rd Street South and 50th Avenue North. 23rd Street South is located one-fourth mile north of County Road 120.
Temporary ramps will open from northbound Highway 15 and eastbound County Road 120, and from southbound Highway 15 and westbound County Road 120, in late May 23.
County Road 120 crossing Highway 15 will remain closed until the Highway 15/County Road 120 Diverging Diamond Interchange project is completed in fall, 2013.
When complete, the project will increase safety and mobility in the area.
