Weekend closures scheduled at two Highway 169 intersections in Elk River
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists traveling in Elk River may encounter delays this weekend as southbound Highway 169 is reduced to a single lane and turn lanes close at the intersections of Main Street and Jackson/193rd Avenue Friday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m.
All lanes will reopen by 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5.
The weekend lane closures are needed as crews repair the roadway and allow adequate cure time before the new concrete carries traffic.
Intermittent non-rush hour lane closures will occur on Highway 169 through mid-October.
The work is part of a larger project to resurface, repair and improve Highway 169 between Highway 10 in Elk River and Zimmerman.
