Highway 27 project from Isle to Woodland begins May 14

Traffic to use detour

 

Baxter, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Highway 27 from Highway 47 south of Isle to Highway 65 in Woodland will encounter a road closure and detour beginning Monday, May 14.

The closure is necessary for crews to resurface seven miles of roadway and shoulders as well as replace and repair culverts.

Anderson Brothers, of Brainerd, is the prime contractor for the $2.5 million road improvement project. Work should be complete by late June, weather permitting.

 

The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
