Hwy 47 detour in Isanti County begins Oct. 3
Expect Delays
Location
Highway 47 from Isanti County Road 39 near West Point to Isanti County Road 40 at Bradford.
Time frame
Beginning Monday, Oct. 3, through mid-October.
Traffic impacts
Road closed. Traffic detoured via Isanti County Road 40, 7, 11 and 39. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention to detour signs. View detour map.
Work
Crews will repair a section of damaged pavement on Highway 47 at 317th Avenue NW. As the road surface continuously thawed and frosted earlier this spring, the pavement began to heave, which warranted the repair project.
Midwest Contracting, of Marshall, is the prime contractor for the $400,000 safety improvement project.
