Hwy 27 project in Little Falls begins June 20
Traffic will be detoured
BAXTER, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a road closure at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks on Hwy 27/Broadway Avenue in Little Falls when a track repair project begins at 6 a.m. Monday, June 20.
Traffic will be detoured on Hwy 27 to Paul Larson Drive, 9th Avenue, Lindbergh Drive and back to Hwy 27. Temporary four-way stop signs will be placed at Paul Larson Drive, 9th Avenue and Lindbergh Drive.
Work is scheduled to be completed by 6 p.m. Friday, June 24, weather permitting.
During construction and road maintenance work, MnDOT urges drivers to:
- Never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
- Plan ahead and expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
- Check www.511mn.org or call 511 for up-to-date information about traffic and road conditions.
- Stay alert; expect the unexpected.
