Public meeting scheduled for Highway 10 interchange in Rice

 

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Monday, June 13 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Rice City Hall Council Chambers, 205 Main Street, Rice, to discuss the construction of an interchange at the junction of Highway 10 and Benton County Road 2 in Rice.  

 

Layouts showing the original standard diamond design and the revised design will be available for public review.  MnDOT project personnel  will be on hand to answer questions on an individual basis.

 

Funding has been identified for project construction in 2014.  The traffic signal will be removed, and Highway 10 will be raised to cross over County Road 2.
