BAXTER, Minn. - Highway 169 will open to traffic Thursday evening, Oct. 22, two miles south of Aitkin, reports the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Motorists have been detoured since early September to allow crews to replace two Ripple River box culverts.

Landwehr Construction, Inc. of St. Cloud was the prime contractor for the $980,700 improvement project.
