BAXTER, Minn. - Motorists traveling Highway 169
north of the Rum River Rest Area to just south of Onamia mid-week
next week will be using the newly-opened southbound lanes as crews
complete the unbonded concrete overlay project.
Motorists should expect periodic lane closures for the removal
of the temporary cross overs and temporary widening done along
the northbound lanes of Highway 169, as well as the completion
of the turf establishment.
This $4.5 million project is one of nearly 100 Minnesota road
and bridge projects that will be funded with $502 million in federal
economic stimulus dollars.
All work to be completed by mid-August.
