ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Motorists will experience single-lane closures and traffic shifts on Highway 10 between Benton County Road 20 and Benton County Road 4 at Watab starting July 16 when the Minnesota Department of Transportation begins a resurfacing project.

Traffic will shift on to one lane through the work zone, directed by flaggers at intersections. Drivers are urged to slow down and be alert for flaggers, heavy moving equipment and loose gravel on the roadway surface.

All work will be done during daylight hours.

Halfway Jam - Work will suspend from noon on Thursday, July 23, until 8 a.m. on Monday, July 27, to accommodate motorists attending Halfway Jam.

Astech Corp. of St. Joseph is the prime contractor for the $750,000 road preservation project to be complete by mid-September, weather permitting.
