BAXTER, Minn. - Motorists will encounter a detour on Highway 107 at Grasston, in Kanabec County starting July 6 as crews begin reconstruction of the Snake River bridge.

The two-mile detour will use Kanabec County Road 17, Kanabec County Road 5 and Highway 70. Detour map

Redstone Construction of Mora is the prime contractor for the $1.2 million bridge replacement project funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act which was signed into law February 2009.

Work is estimated to be complete by mid-November.
