ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays as crews begin work July 7 to replace a bridge on Highway 71. The bridge is located three miles north of Highway 55 in Belgrade.

Highway 71 will be closed to traffic through mid-September. Traffic will be re-routed on Stearns County Highway 13. Detour map

Motorists are reminded to obey all traffic signs and personnel, and never go through areas that are closed off with barricades.

Robert Schroeder Construction Company of Glenwood, is the prime contractor for the $1.2 million bridge replacement project funded by
Chapter 152 Bond funds.

The project is anticipated to be completed by early October.
