ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Motorists are encouraged to slow
down and watch for trucks hauling materials and loose rock as
crews begin seal coating two area roadways.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, crews will seal coat
Highway 95 from just west of Isanti County Road 15 to Isanti County
Road 17/70 in Cambridge. This first phase of seal coating should
be completed in three days, weather permitting.
On May 30, crews will begin seal coating Highway 47 from Anoka
County Road 81 in St. Francis to Highway 23 in Ogilvie. The first
phase of work on Highway 47 is expected to be completed by June
3. This 31-mile stretch of roadway includes Anoka and Kanabec
counties.
Crews will return in mid-June to both project areas to complete
the seal coating process. Permanent pavement markings will be
done in early July, and all work is anticipated to be completed
by mid-July.
Motorists should be aware of trucks hauling materials and loose
rock on the roadway in the work zone. Expect to slow down and
use caution in the area where crews are working.
