ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Intersection work on Highway
65 at Isanti County Road 5, in the city of Isanti, will resume
the week of May 11, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work was suspended in fall 2008 due to shipment delays of traffic
signal poles and mast-arms.
Crews will resume installing a new dual-turn lane on the northbound
lanes of Highway 65 and replacing the intersections traffic signal
system.
Knife River Corporation of Sauk Rapids is the prime contractor
for the $750,000 safety improvement project.
Motorist may encounter lane closures. Work is anticipated to
be complete by mid August.
