ST. CLOUD, Minn.- The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed Highway 22 in the city of Richmond to traffic due to flooding on the roadway.

Highway 22 is closed from just north of Stearns County Road 42 to the junction of Highways 22/23 near the cities of Watkins/Eden Valley. The highway will remain closed until further notice.

Motorists are urged to call 5-1-1 or log on to www.511mn.org for road condition information when traveling in the west central area or any area of the state where potential flooding conditions exist.
