ST. CLOUD, Minn.--Motorists should plan for delays
when crews begin a pavement rehabilitation project Tuesday, Oct.
7, on Highway 71 (Main Street) from Fourth Street North to Interstate
94 in Sauk Centre.
Crews will mill and overlay a new blacktop road surface, including
shoulders, turn lanes and ramp entrances. Periodically work may
be done during nighttime hours when traffic is lighter.
Flaggers will control traffic. Motorists should slow down, expect
lane closures and be prepared for sudden stops in the work zone.
Parking will not be allowed along Highway 71 (Main Street) during
the duration of the project.
Hardrives Inc. of Rogers is the contractor for the $500,000 project,
slated to be complete by the end of October.
