ST. CLOUD, Minn.--Motorists should plan for delays
beginning Monday, Aug. 18, when crews begin paving 13 miles of Interstate
94 from Albany to Melrose.
Crews will mill and overlay a new blacktop road surface, including
shoulders and interchange ramps, on both westbound and eastbound
I-94.
All work will be done during daylight hours. On weekends,
work will suspend Friday at noon and resume Monday morning
at sunrise.
Motorists should plan for delays, reduced speeds, lane shifts
and closures.
Hardrives of Rogers is the prime contractor for the $6.5 million
project, which will be completed by mid October.
This is part of a pavement preservation project that began
in mid-July on Highway 237 from New Munich to I-94. This segment
of the project was completed in early August.
