ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation
invites public input about its proposed safety and capacity improvements
for Highway 95, between Highway 65 and Isanti County Highway 2,
in east Cambridge.
An open house will be held Tuesday, May 13, between 5 p.m. and
7 p.m., at the Cambridge City Hall, located at 300 Third Avenue
NE. There is no formal presentation. Attendees may stop in anytime
during the two-hour time frame.
The project is currently scheduled for construction in 2009. Preliminary
designs and road concepts will be on display, and MnDOT staff will
be available to answer questions and gather input.
MnDOT encourages property owners, businesses, public officials
and others interested in the project to attend. Public input is
an essential part of the plan and design process by allowing local
entities to work together to identify future concerns and needs,
including potential economic development.
